Bladder Health

People of all ages can experience changes in bladder health. As Baltimore’s pelvic health experts, we help you get back to feeling comfortable and confident in your bladder health regardless of your symptoms of concern. Indigo will help you say goodbye to bladder concerns!

Common Symptoms We Treat Include

URINARY INCONTINENCE

The most common bladder concern people have is bladder leakage also known as urinary incontinence. Sometimes that leakage might happen with increased pressure on the bladder; like coughing or lifting, which is called stress urinary incontinence, or with an urgency trigger like the sound of running water; urge incontinence.

CYSTOCELE

Pelvic organ prolapse of the bladder is a cystocele. This may cause changes in bladder health such as hesitancy, leakage and heaviness in the vagina. Our goal is to help you improve support for your bladder with the pelvic floor and your inner core muscles. But to really reduce prolapse we must improve your movement patterns, core and hip strength and stability, fascial tension and overall pelvic health.

Care at Indigo involves many different treatment options including manual therapy, targeted exercises for the pelvic floor and the core muscles as well as detailed bladder health training and education. Indigo also offers pelvic floor biofeedback to improve your pelvic health.

BLADDER PAIN

Many different factors or conditions can cause bladder pain- but you don’t have to feel out of control. Our experts are trained to find the root cause of your pain and decrease it.
