Male pelvic health physical therapy is a niche area of care that requires extensive training and experience to treat effectively. Here at Indigo we offer expertise in the area of male pelvic pain. Our goal is to empower men to understand their symptoms, reduce
their pain and return to feeling normal.

Most commonly men develop pelvic pain after an infection of the bladder or prostate but this is not always the case. Regardless of the initial cause of pain, symptoms are often significant, such as pain with sitting, penile or genital pain, poor bladder function,
nerve pain in the pelvis or into the leg and altered sexual response.

Throughout your care our goal is to improve the health and function of the pelvic floor muscles. This will facilitate normal pelvic functions including bladder, bowel and sexual health out pain or limitation. The pelvic floor muscles are also the base of the core and all movement. Complete pelvic health recovery includes resetting this base function of the pelvic floor to allow you to return to full health and movement.
